High-Torque Electric Starters

HEXASTART high-torque electric starters are designed to deliver instant, powerful cranking, bringing diesel engines up to reliable starting speed. They suit large diesel engines in marine propulsion, generator sets, and heavy industrial power systems, and custom development is available for specific engine models.

Models

QD21129

To meet the high starting resistance of large-displacement, high-horsepower engines, we developed the QD21129, an 11 kW high-output electric starter. It is designed for large engines such as the Mitsubishi S16R series engines, and a single QD21129 can replace a conventional dual-starter setup.
