When standard won’t start it,
WE WILL.

Situations we work on

A standard electric starter suits most engines. These are the situations where we are brought in.

Situation

Where a standard starter falls short

What we do

No power available

It relies on batteries and electrical power, which can run down during long standby or be lost in a blackout.

Spring starters are hand-wound to store energy mechanically. Air starters run on compressed air. Neither depends on batteries.

Sparks are a concern

A standard starter’s electrical components can produce sparks where flammable gas or dust is present.

Spring and air starters produce no electrical sparks during starting.

The engine is very large

One standard starter may not deliver enough torque for large engines, which often use a dual-starter setup.

On large engines, a single high-torque electric starter can replace a dual-starter setup. Spring starters cover engines up to 50 L and air starters up to 250 L.

It does not fit

Older engines and non-standard flywheel housings cannot always take a standard starter.

We develop custom designs for non-standard housings. A spring starter with a standard SAE flange can replace an electric starter without modifying the flywheel housing.

How we work

Every project starts from your engine, not from a catalogue.

1

Dimensional inspection

Assembly of a starter unit

Quality control & testing

Starting equipment has to work when it is needed, so quality checks are built into each stage.

Incoming inspection

Key components are checked before use.

In-process checks

Critical dimensions and assembly steps are verified.

Pre-shipment testing

Every unit is tested in-house before shipment, with dimensional checks and bench testing.
