Overview
The 5QD Series is the lower-power series of our air starters, rated at 4 to 10 kW. Built on a three-stage single-turbine design, it uses a planetary reduction gear to reach the required torque and speed, delivering a rated 10 kW and a rated torque of 50 N·m at a rated air pressure of 0.8 MPa. The modular housing is joined by a clamp ring and can be rotated through 360° to ease installation.

Three-Stage Single-Turbine Design
The turbine reaches the required torque and speed through a planetary reduction gear, with a rated torque of up to 50 N·m.
Continuous Cranking Capability
As long as air supply is maintained, the starter allows repeated, continuous cranking attempts.
360° Orientation
The modular housing is joined by a clamp ring and can be rotated through 360° to ease installation.
SAE Flange Mounting
SAE heavy-duty flange. Flywheel housing and pinion specifications are confirmed at order.
CW or CCW Rotation
Available for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation.
